Thr Firedrake fell on the floor of the cave. "Yeah!"
all the men cheered.
"Take the gold to rebuild
the town that was burned down," said Beowulf weakly. His
men loaded up with the gold to take to the village. Beowulf died
on the floor of the cave with Wiglaf by his side.
Later, whenever he was asked
about Beowulf's last moments, all he would say was "Beowulf
was Beowulf."
